Dr. Tamesis joined AO Multispecialty Clinic in August 2024 as a highly experienced Rheumatologist. He brings over three decades of medical expertise, with a focus on rheumatology, internal medicine, and geriatric care.

Born in Manila, Philippines, Dr. Tamesis earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City. Following his medical education, he completed a rotating internship at Medical City General Hospital in Pasig, Metro Manila. He then pursued residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center of Richmond in Staten Island, NY, followed by a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY, and a fellowship in Rheumatology at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden, NJ.

Dr. Tamesis has held various prestigious positions throughout his career, including serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College and operating a successful private practice, Tamesis Rheumatology Medicine, in Dover, DE, for nearly two decades. His professional experience spans emergency medicine, primary care, and specialized rheumatology care.

Dr. Tamesis is board-certified in Rheumatology and holds active medical licenses in Delaware, Montana, and Georgia. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and is fluent in English, Filipino, and Spanish.

Dr. Tamesis is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to his patients, using his extensive experience to help those with rheumatic diseases lead healthier, more comfortable lives.
