Non-Chemotherapy Infusion Services

At AO Multispecialty Clinic, we treat much more than just cancer.  In addition, we offer in-house infusion services for many medical conditions.

Your primary care doctor or medical specialist might refer you to our clinic for outpatient infusion services.  These IV medications and injections enhance your recovery plan; meanwhile, your referring physician continues to oversee and direct your care.

Our highly-trained nursing team provides expert care and keeps your doctor updated on all your infusion treatments.

Chemotherapy Infusion Services

Chemotherapy is the treatment of cancer with drugs that can destroy cancer cells.  It’s given either through an IV infusion or by mouth.  Many chemo medications are too harsh to be taken orally; as a result, they’re administered intravenously.

What type of chemo will I receive?

It’s important to remember, there is no “one size fits all” treatment with chemo. Just as every person is different, every cancer is different.

At AO Multispecialty Clinic, your treatment regimen is custom-created, based on the best treatment for your specific cancer.  Consequently, you can rest assured knowing it has been tailored to your body’s individual needs, making for the best possible treatment.

Comfort

Comfort is key!  All of our locations (Wheeler Road in West Augusta, Downtown Augusta, and Aiken, SC) have been renovated with your comfort in mind.   Our treatment rooms are large and well-lit, and they have comfortable reclining chairs.

Length Of Treatment Time

Your prescribed medication determines the length of your therapy time.  However, most infusion therapies will take several hours. During your treatment, we’ll always go above and beyond to make your visit as quick and comfortable as possible.

Convenience

AO Multispecialty Clinic’s Infusion services are convenient!  There are no stressful commutes or crowded parking decks.  All of our facilities are conveniently located, easily accessible, and have on-site free parking.

Additionally, we always work hard to get you into our centers as quickly as possible.  In many cases, appointments can easily be scheduled in just a few days.

Above all, our team will do everything it takes to make your experience as pleasant as possible!
