Dr. Flanders graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. He then completed internship, residency, and fellowship training at Walter Reed with the U.S. Navy. Afterwards, he served as an active duty hematologist/oncologist in Portsmouth, Virginia. During this time, he became the department head of hematology/oncology. After completing his time with the Navy, Dr. Flanders worked for a hospital-based practice in east Tennessee before joining AO Multispecialty Clinic in October 2019. Dr. Flanders is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.
